But what if we shifted our perspective? What if, instead, we asked, “God, what do you want me to learn from this?”

Every problem has a purpose: to help us grow up spiritually and become more like Jesus. God builds His character in us—the fruit of the Spirit—not in ideal conditions, but often through the exact opposite environment:
. Love is learned around difficult or unloving people.
. Joy is built during times of adversity and grief when we realize God is enough.
. Peace isn't found on a quiet lake, but in the middle of chaos when we learn to trust Him.
. Patience is developed in traffic jams, waiting rooms, and life’s unexpected delays.
Becoming like Christ is a lifelong journey. As 2 Corinthians 3:18 reminds us, "As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him."
Adversity isn't an interruption to your growth; it’s the primary classroom God uses to shape your heart.

Replace “Why is this happening?” with “What virtue is this circumstance calling me to practice right now?”
