Purpose Beyond Ourselves
(From one of my quiet times this week..)
I’ve come to believe this deeply: I wasn’t placed on this earth just to consume, achieve, or check boxes. I was created to contribute.
Scripture says, “It is God himself who has made us what we are… and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others” (Ephesians 2:10, TLB). That verse reframes everything. Purpose isn’t found in titles or accomplishments—it’s lived out through service.
Every act of leadership, coaching, encouragement, or support—no matter how small—matters. When I help others grow, I’m stepping into the very work God prepared for me long before I realized it. This calling isn’t reserved for pastors or clergy. Every Christ follower is a minister, because service is ministry.
That conviction fuels my passion for intentional leadership and personal growth. When leaders grow on purpose, they create space for others to discover their potential, step into it with confidence, and live lives of impact.
Call to action:
This week, choose one place—at work, church, or in your community—where you can intentionally serve and show up consistently. And if you’re a leader who wants to grow personally while helping others do the same, let’s connect. I’d love to walk that journey with you.
